Night in Nanjing – Bryker Woods Fundraising Event
The Grove Store and our friends from Bryker Woods Elementary teamed up to host a beautiful night of fun, friends, and fundraising. The Grove Store was proud to provide a venue for an event that supports our neighborhood and the bright young students at Bryker Elementary School. The hardworking team from The Bryker Woods PTA transformed The Grove Store into an exquisite Nanjing-themed silent auction complete with food, drinks, music and plenty of good times.
Kim Zipfel, BWPTA Vice President, remembers the event,”What an evening Friday, April 12th was for the Bryker Woods Elementary Community! Thanks to The Grove and its stunning space at The Grove Store, our PTA put on an exquisite “Night in Nanjing” for 200 of its proud parents, teachers, staff, and supporters. We are so grateful to so many local businesses who helped us exceed our fundraising goal, but The Grove truly went above and beyond by generously donating and trusting us with their gorgeous venue. As a school community with a “new neighbor”, our “Night in Nanjing” at The Grove Store provided our guests with just a small taste of what it will mean to have The Grove at Shoal Creek as Austin’s Gathering Place. And we can’t wait to see what’s in store!”
