Parks and Trails

Bringing It All Together

More than 20 acres in The Grove will be dedicated to parks and open areas. That is over twelve football fields of green space! The most notable feature is the Signature Park, which is 16+ acres. This incredible park will include a wet pond with boardwalk, a dog park, playing lawns, active and passive spaces, a series of interconnected walking and hiking trails. Additionally, The Grove will have dedicated pocket parks in the residential areas and a green plaza in the Mixed-Use area. And, of course, we are keeping all the natural oak trees. After all, our name is The Grove.

Parks and Plazas

Quality Outdoor Spaces

The Grove is committed to ensuring an extraordinary and diverse system of parks, trails, and open space at The Grove. The Signature Park is the centerpiece of this amazing park system, but each component plays a unique and important role in the overall system, ensuring a wide range of outdoor experiences throughout the site and a quality open space within steps of every home.

The Signature Park

The Signature Park will offer the widest range of adventures within the project’s park system. It begins at the edge of the vibrant retail district with a beautiful plaza transitioning to the park.

Ranging from the vibrant restaurant plaza and adjacent adventure playground on the western edge, through open lawns and 400-year-old heritage oak trees, to a natural passive experience on the eastern edge with winding trails and overlooks for wildlife viewing along the Shoal Creek corridor. The park will also feature a dog park, exercise stations, and a planned connection to the Shoal Creek Trail that begins an adventurous journey to Downtown and Lady Bird Lake.

Everything Within Reach

Every destination internal to the site is easily reachable on foot or bike. Along the way you’ll find open lawns, picnic areas, a fire pit, a nature play area, and more. Part trail corridor, part community backyard, the walking paths, parks and open spaces in the Grove will be the place where your neighbors become your friends.
